Ofqual, the exam regulation body have announced that they will publish by Easter a process and timetable for how GCSE grades will be predicted. Once we have the information, we will share it with you. Further details can be found at;

St. Matthew's RC High School are committed to a strong culture of safeguarding, and we ensure that all staff embrace the concept of “it could happen here.” We expect everyone who works in and visits our school to share our commitment to vigilance and safety at all times. Our students are taught how to stay safe, including when online, and to recognise when they may be at risk. We ensure our students know how to get help when they need it.

We are also part of Operation Encompass. This means we get regular updates by the police about situations that may have happened within families in our community. Please understand that sometimes we may have to speak to you about logged cases to ensure we can safeguard our children.
