We are a diverse Catholic High School, with over 1200 students on roll. Currently working in partnership with a National Teaching School, St Patrick’s RC High School, we are determined in our vision to bring the same standards of excellence to our wonderful community. We believe in our journey towards Catholic Excellence, keeping our mission statement central in all we do.

Our modern school building allows all our school community access to both a creative and inspiring environment.

We are located in Moston with excellent transport links to Manchester City Centre, and the surrounding areas with easy access to the major motorway routes.

St Matthew’s is an exciting place to work! Students and adults are asked to continually strive to be the best version of themselves, as part of a culture of high challenge with high support. Our wider community are encouraged to reach this aim, through development and progression.

Teaching and Learning is our core business. If you share our passion for this, please read on.
